80% Assembled: you will need to put on the wheels, seats, roll bars etc. Anyone who has some mechanical knowledge can uncrate this go-kart and get it up and running in couple hours. However, if you do not feel comfortable doing it on your own, you may take it to a professional mechanic and have them get it ready for you, it is your responsibility to make sure that the vehicle is assembled correctly and to pay for any additional fee related to assembly if needed. Negligence and improper assembly will void warranty. Be sure to tighten all bolts, check / replace engine fluids and fully charge battery prior to operation. This is a new in box off-road vehicle, it needs to be assembled very carefully and properly for top performance.
Adjustable Throttle to Control the speed for Kids : An adjustable vertical bolt/nut is mounted behind the gas pedal to limit how far forward you can push the gas pedal. You can slow your child down to 10 mph if you want to, or allow him to push the gas pedal all the way forward for 35 mph or anywhere in-between. Your choice.
